Carlton to publish 'The Case Notes of Sherlock Holmes'

Carlton Publishing has acquired the rights to publish 'The Case Notes of Sherlock Holmes, by Dr John Watson' from Metrostar. It will be published in 2009 to tie in with the 150th anniversary of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's birth. Warner Bros is also releasing a Sherlock Holmes feature with Robert Downey Jr in the same year.

This unique and remarkable work is an exact reproduction of a scrapbook compiled by Dr John
H. Watson, containing notes, letters, sketches, newspaper articles and other items from the cases investigated by Sherlock Holmes. It was developed by Metrostar's Stuart Cooper and will be written by Guy Adams and designed by Lee Thompson, the team behind the best-selling 'Rules of Modern Policing' (Transworld).

'Case Notes' is officially endorsed by the Conan Doyle Estate who have given their permission for the book to carry the Sherlock Holmes trademarks.
