Harper Collins publishes Vinnie Jones' Toughest Cops

Harper Collins has published Vinnie Jones' Toughest Cops to tie in with the ITV4 television series of the same name produced by Zig Zag Productions.

Vinnie, a hardman of the football pitch, the movies and real life, tells us what it’s like to try to keep order where the rule of law is stretched to breaking point - where the cops are considered not so much a force to be obeyed as a force to be broken down and destroyed.

The series sees Vinnie accompany some of the World's top police forces as they tackle crime around the globe. The book relives Vinnie's personal experiences as well as giving readers a more in depth view of the challenges faced by police forces in countries such as the US, South Africa and Jamaica and insights into the characters and courage of the cops themselves.

The deal was brokered by Claire Potter at Metrostar with Natalie Jerome at Harper Collins, for Ben Barrett at Zig Zag Productions.
