Metrostar and Dennis Publishing have announced that Smiffy’s is to develop a range of dress-up and related accessories inspired by ‘Viz’ characters.

The deal was brokered by Claire Potter at Metrostar with John Howson and Hannah Carter-Fea at Smiffy’s. Smiffy’s will launch the range at Spring Fair with ‘Sid the Sexist’ and ‘The Fat Slags’ and hope to add other ‘Viz’ characters in due course.

Metrostar’s Claire Potter comments:

“We are all looking forward to seeing Viz’s larger-than-life characters in Smiffy’s dress-up costumes. We hope they’ll create as much fun for party-goers as they do for magazine readers.”
