Stylish, pacey, ingenious and gripping, MI High is a children’s adventure series following the exploits of a group of inner-city high school kids from St Hope’s.

MI High AgentsOscar, Carrie and Rose work as undercover spies. They are led by MI9 agent Frank London who also poses as the school caretaker. They are working together to defeat S.K.U.L, the Secret Kriminal Underground League, led by The Grand Master, the whereabouts of which remain unknown.

Frank summons his spy taskforce by means of a small flashing light at the top of the kids’ pencils, which is disguised to look like an eraser. When they see it, the team must think of an excuse to get out of class and go to the caretaker’s storeroom. They then descend by means of a high-speed elevator to MI9’s deep underground spy headquarters where they learn about their latest mission from Frank.

In 2008, MI High was amongst the top ten most-watched TV programmes by 5-15 year olds - ranking 6th after shows such as 'Dr Who', 'The X Factor', 'Britain's Got Talent' and 'Wallace & Gromit'.

In total, 1.97m children watched the BBC One series, which equates to 22.5% of all children. 970,000 children watched the show on CBBC, a further 11%.

MI High’ is targeted at children aged 6-12. Series three (13 x 30”) began transmission in January 2009. Series four and five have already been commissioned for 2010 and 2011.
