Dear Zoo was created by Rod Campbell in 1982 and has become firmly established as a classic children's picture book.
Over 4 million copies have been sold since publication and it is more popular today than it has ever been. It was a best-selling book in 2010 with a 25% increase in sales year on year.
As well as the board book, there are pop-up books, colouring books, activity packs, a little library, an activity book and buggy book versions of this popular story. And publishers Macmillan and Puffin have more new books planned for 2012, Dear Zoo's 30th Birthday.

We couldn't have wished for a better start. Reaction from retailers and licensees has been overwhelmingly positive and the simple, spell-binding story has inspired them to create imaginative and playful products for babies and toddlers.
Current licensees are : TV Mania (Baby and Toddler Apparel, for Tu Clothing at Sainsbury's), Paul Lamond (Puzzles), Aurora (Plush), Enesco (Melamine & Ceramics), Shreds (Luggage and Accessories), Roy Lowe & Sons (Socks)
Metrostar would like to hear from retailers and licensees in : greetings cards, toys & play, nursery products, bathtime products, baby gifting and theatre production.
