The Secret of Moonacre is based on the 1946 children’s classic ‘The Little White Horse’ by celebrated novelist Elizabeth Goudge who won the prestigious Carnegie Medal for this book.
Cited by JK Rowling as the book which inspired her to write Harry Potter, it has been adapted for the screen by Lucy Shuttleworth and Graham Alborough, and is the first film in a potential franchise series.
